Iconic fashion brand Ted Baker has signed a deal to open a 325,000 sq ft distribution centre at Derby Commercial Park.
The pan-European distribution centre will create 250 jobs and handle all operations for the brand’s retail, wholesale and eCommerce businesses across the continent.
Martin Rawson, Deputy Leader of Derby City Council, commented: “The announcement of national retail brand Ted Baker taking 325,000 sq ft of space is a real coup for the city. Ted Baker’s investment into Derby is greatly received and the expected 250 jobs or more over the coming year is warmly welcomed.”
John Forkin, Managing Director of Marketing Derby, said: “Marketing Derby and Derby City Council have worked closely with Bondholder Goodman Development and Anglesea Capital to help secure this major investment, bringing quality and much needed jobs into the city.”
